Agus Domingo to lead at Disneyland

Spanish Agus Domingo Hospital, 29 year old, took the lead of the first 2010 event in France, the Open International d’Ile de France. This maiden visit for Alps Tour players on golf course of Disneyland near Paris is honoured by beautiful weather and warm temperatures.

Domingo Hospital, nephew of homonym former European tour player, shot 66, 6 under and proved again the good form of Spanish players this year. His card got two eagles and one especially on 16th hole, short par 4 defended by water hazard.

One stroke behind, tie, French amateur, Raphaël Marguery, from golf club La Boulie, who dropped his one and only shot on the last hole and French professional, Tony Raillard. Raillard has been leaving the circuit on injury in March but not only :

“I had no money to travel and play. I have a full category but I have been teaching for weeks to make cash and I just arrived this morning because I played a Pro Am south of FRance yesterday. I practised 5 minutes on the putting green to get the pace ! My target was to enjoy, it seems it works. Golf is strange but I am happy to be here and I really would like to have results to be able to afford to play.”

Playing golf as professional is not always a bed of roses… The projected cut is level par.
