Welcome to the 2025 Regione Lazio Alps Tour Grand Final.

Sutri, October 13th, 2025 – After a thrilling 17-week season across some of the most scenic courses, it’s time for the final tournament of the 2025 season, the Regione Lazio Alps Tour Grand Final, set to take place from October 16th-18th at the prestigious Golf Nazionale in Sutri, just north of Rome. This renowned venue has already hosted the Grand Final in 2019, and it is a great stage to crown the season’s best players.

The top 50 professional players in the 2025 Alps Tour Order of Merit following last week’s Parma Alps Open, as well as ranked amateur members within the “Top 50” (no ties), were eligible to participate in this week’s final tournament. Eligible players must have participated in at least 5 events in 3 different countries during the season. The 2025 Regione Lazio Alps Tour Grand Final can count as the 3rd country if the player hasn’t previously competed in Italy. Parma, October 11th, 2025 – Italy’s Jacopo Vecchi Fossa secured his second win of the season at the 2025 Parma Alps Open with a total score of 14 under-par. He edged out Spain’s Asier Aguirre Izcue and Javier Barcos, who finished the tournament tied for second place by a single stroke at 13 under-par, while the Italian duo of Davide Buchi and Luca Memeo shared fourth place in a two-way tie at 12 under-par.

Today marked the final round of the regular season, giving players a crucial opportunity to earn valuable points to either climb the Order of Merit or solidify their current positions. With promotion to the 2026 HotelPlanner Tour at stake for the top five players in the final Order of Merit standings after next week’s event, every result now carries heightened significance.

Final Round Players’ Quotes

Jacopo Vecchi Fossa, 31, from Italy, continued his strong 2025 season by claiming his second victory of the year at this week’s Parma Alps Open. Already a winner at the 2025 Open de La Mirabelle d’Or and ranked inside the top three of the Alps Tour Order of MeritVecchi Fossa was a consistent presence near the top of the leaderboard throughout the event. He sat in second place after the opening round and moved into a share of the lead following Round 2. He sealed the win with a final-round 2-under-par 70, finishing at 14-under-par for the tournament. Vecchi Fossa got off to a hot start with an eagle on the 1st hole and a birdie on the 4th hole. Despite a bogey on hole 10, he bounced back with a birdie on the 12th hole and closed with a bogey on the 18th, but it was still enough to secure the title. Vecchi Fossa has multiple career wins to his name, including winning the 2021 Order of Merit, which earned him status on what is now the HotelPlanner Tour. Reflecting on his performance, Vecchi Fossa shared how much the win meant to him: “It’s very nice to end the regular season with a win. It’s rewarding and gives me a lot of confidence for the Grand Final next week and for the upcoming off-season. I’m extremely happy right now.” A native of the region and a past winner at this venue, he acknowledged the advantage of local course knowledge: “As you said, I’m from this region and knew this course very well. I’ve already won here in the past as a professional, too. It’s a course where you need to be patient off the tees and have good course knowledge to take advantage of every hole.” Sticking to a consistent approach proved key: “Every round, I had the same exact strategy—I really stuck to it and it rewarded me at the end.” Looking ahead to next week’s season-ending tournament at Golf NazionaleVecchi Fossa added: “I’ll play with a little less pressure, even though Golf Nazionale already gives us enough pressure. It’s a course I had success at, so I’m really looking forward to it.” He also took a moment to express gratitude to those closest to him: “I want to thank my team, my coach, my trainer, Matilde my girlfriend, and my family, as they all support me a lot. It’s nice to win, even though it’s not always easy.” On a more reflective note, he admitted: “Today I made a decision on 18, which was a bit stupid, and it could have cost me the trophy, but I guess it was meant to be my day after all.”

Finishing the tournament in a two-way tie for second place with a three-day total of 13 under par were two of this season’s past winners: Spain’s Asier Aguirre Izcue and Javier Barcos.

10th October 2025 | Alps Tour Golf

Round Two of the 2025 Parma Alps Open Concludes with a Three-Way Tie for the Lead.

Parma, October 10th, 2025 – At the conclusion of Round 2 at the 2025 Parma Alps Open, the leaderboard remains tightly contested, setting up a dramatic final day. Italy’s Jacopo Vecchi Fossa, Spain’s Javier Barcos, and France’s Paul Franquet share the lead at 12-under-par. Just three shots back, in a two-way tie for 4th place at 9 under-par, are Spain’s Asier Aguirre Izcue and Italy’s Matteo Cristoni.

As the regular season wraps up this week, players have a crucial chance to earn valuable points, either to climb the Order of Merit or to secure their current positions. With promotion to the 2026 HotelPlanner Tour on the line for the top five players in the final Order of Merit standings after next week’s event, every result now carries added significance.

Round 2 Players’ Quotes

Italy’s Jacopo Vecchi Fossa, 31, continues his strong performance at the 2025 Parma Alps Open. After opening with a 7-under-par 65, he followed up with a 5-under-par 67 in the second round to move into a share of the lead with a two-day total of 12 under-par. Vecchi Fossa, the winner of the 2025 Open de La Mirabelle d’Or and currently 3rd in the Alps Tour Order of Merit with 23,525.48 points, is looking to strengthen his position ahead of next week’s season finale. With multiple career wins to his name, Vecchi Fossa established himself as a top contender on the Alps Tour, including winning the 2021 Order of Merit, which earned him status on what is now the HotelPlanner Tour. In today’s round, he made 6 birdies (on holes 4, 6, 7, 9, 12, and 16) and a single bogey on hole 8. “It went really well,” said Vecchi Fossa“I didn’t get off to the best start, but in the end, the round went according to plan. I played very solidly again today, and I’m very pleased.” With just one event remaining in the season, he acknowledged the stakes but remains focused. “There’s always pressure, but I try not to add any extra on myself since it’s one of the last events of the season. Of course, I’m thinking about the five cards up for grabs, but I do my best to block that out during the round.” Vecchi Fossa’s mindset remains steady heading into the final day. “I always try not to look around too much and just play with a clear mind. I usually avoid checking the leaderboard because it tends to distract me a little. I’ll stick with the same strategy and won’t change anything heading into the final round.” Reflecting on his game, he added, “The part of my game that satisfied me the most today was definitely the putting. I’ll spend some time this afternoon practicing mid-irons, but overall, every part of my game is at a good level right now.”

Javier Barcos, 23, from Spain, the current Order of Merit Leader and winner of both the 2025 New Giza Open and Longwy Alps Open, opened with a 3-under par, 69 to sit tied for 14th place. After a strong second round, he now shares the lead with a two-day total of 12 under par. He fired a bogey-free 9-under-par, 63 in today’s second round, carding birdies on holes 1, 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 15, and 17. “It was a great day out there,” said Barcos. “The big difference was the putter. Yesterday, I had 3 three-putts that held me back, but today my putting was on point and working the whole day. That really helped me shoot a low score.” As he looks ahead to the final round and the season’s conclusion, Barcos remains focused but grounded. “I think it’s more motivation—you’ve been playing the whole year to get to this point, so I’m motivated to finish the season strong. Tomorrow, it’ll be the same plan as the past two days: try to hit the best shot possible and stay in the present. I’ll try not to look at the leaderboard until the last few holes, but sometimes it’s hard not to sneak a glance.” Despite the pressure, he remains calm and keeps things in perspective. “I’m trying to keep it simple and stay focused on the shot I’m about to hit. Off the course, I’m just having fun with the friends I’m traveling with and trying to stay away from golf a bit.” Looking ahead to what’s next, Barcos added: “I’m really looking forward to playing the final in Rome and trying to finish as high as possible in the Order of Merit. Hopefully, tomorrow I can clean up a couple of tee shots that got me into a bit of trouble today.”

Joining Vecchi Fossa and Barcos in a share of the lead is France’s Paul Franquet, 20, who continues to impress in the early stages of his professional career. Having turned pro at the beginning of September, Franquet shows no signs of nerves, following up a 6-under-par 66 in the opening round, where he was tied for third place, with another 6-under-par 66 today to reach a two-day total of 12 under-par. Already a multiple-time top-three finisher as an amateur, Franquet appears poised to make an immediate impact at the professional level. His second round included 3 birdies and 1 bogey on the front nine, followed by 4 more birdies on the back. Reflecting on his performance, Franquet said: “Today was just as good as yesterday, I’m feeling really good overall.” Entering the week ranked 52nd, he acknowledged the added pressure of playing in the final event of the regular season. “Yeah, being the last event of the regular season brought extra pressure because I knew I had to make the cut to have a chance. So, I’m proud of how I managed that.” Looking ahead to the final round, he remains confident in his approach. “I’m going to stick with the same strategy; I am very comfortable with it.” When asked about the strongest part of his game, Franquet added, “I think it’s the driver. I’ve been driving the ball well. But the other parts of my game are working great too.”

Manuel Morugan Leads After Round 1 of the 2025 Parma Alps Open.

Parma, October 9th, 2025 After the opening round of the 2025 Parma Alps Open, the leaderboard is shaping up to be a tightly contested battle. Spain’s Manuel Morugan sits atop the standings with an impressive 8 under-par, 64. Just one shot behind is Italy’s Jacopo Vecchi Fossa, who holds solo second place at 7 under par. In a 6-way tie for 3rd place at 6 under-par: France’s Paul Margolis and Paul Franquet, Italy’s Davide Buchi, and Spain’s Jorge MaicasAsier Aguirre Izcue, and Borja Martin all well within striking distance heading into the second round.

This week marks the conclusion of the regular season, presenting a pivotal opportunity for players to earn critical points, whether to improve their standing in the Order of Merit or to maintain their current positions. With the season winding down, every result carries added weight. The top five players in the final Order of Merit will earn promotion to the 2026 HotelPlanner Tour, making this event a decisive moment in the race.

Round 1 Players’ Quotes

Spain’s Manuel Morugan, 34, a past winner on the Alps Tour, surged to the top of the leaderboard after the opening round of the 2025 Parma Alps Open with an impressive 8 under-par, 64. His only blemish came on the 18th hole, his ninth of the day, but he more than made up for it with 9 birdies, including a strong run on holes 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, and 14. Reflecting on his round, Morugan was pleased with his all-around performance. “My putting was exceptional today, and I only missed one green—I hit 17 greens in regulation, which gave me a lot of chances,” he said. “Everything was working well.” Looking ahead, he believes that smart positioning off the tee will be crucial. “In my opinion, the key for the next two days will be hitting as many fairways as possible,” Morugan explained. “The greens are firm, so you must have the ball in a good lie to hit your approach shot aggressively. Otherwise, you need to play it safer.” With just two rounds remaining, he is maintaining his focus on the task at hand. “I’m not focused at all on the Order of Merit,” he said. “I’m just concentrating on playing my game the best I can and enjoying every round. I never look at the leaderboard, and that’s what I’ll continue to do over the next two days.”

Italy’s Jacopo Vecchi Fossa, 31, finds himself in 2nd place with a 7 under-par, 65 after the 1st round. Currently ranked third in the Alps Tour Order of Merit with 23,525.48 points, he is looking to strengthen his position ahead of next week’s season finale. A proven contender on the Alps TourVecchi Fossa has multiple career victories, including winning the 2021 Order of Merit, which earned him status on what is now the HotelPlanner Tour. In today’s round, he got off to a fast start with an eagle on the 12th hole, followed by birdies on the 14th, 16th, and 18th holes. He kept the momentum going with additional birdies on the 1st, 3rd, and 7th holes, with his only blemish of the day being a bogey on the 6th hole. After posting a nearly flawless opening round, Vecchi Fossa credited his strong play and consistent approach as the keys to his performance. “It was a great round,” he said. “I played well, and I putted very well, too. The greens are very firm, and you need to hit good shots into them—I was able to do that well today.” Looking ahead, the 31-year-old has no plans to change his strategy. “Over the next two days, I want to do the same thing as I did today,” Vecchi Fossa explained. “I’m not the type of player who changes plans or strategy between rounds. I just need to keep playing well without thinking about the other players, the leaderboard, or the Order of Merit.” While there may be pressure at this late stage of the season, Vecchi Fossa is focused on staying present. “I’m taking this tournament like any other event. Maybe if I have a risky shot, I’ll think about it twice, but I want to keep playing my own game, which has been really good lately, and enjoy every round.”

Paul Margolis, 26, from France, who has previously won on the Alps Tour as an amateur in 2021, is in a 6-way tie for 3rd place at 6 under par. He turned professional at the end of 2021 and has since earned various top-10 finishes, including his win. Margolis began his round on the 1st hole and quickly found momentum, making four birdies in a row, on the back-nine, he made a bogey on hole 11 before making 3 more birdies on holes 13,14 and 15 to close out his day. After his round, Margolis reflected on his performance, “My round was very chill today, to be honest,” he said. “I hit the ball good off the tee, and I putted well too; that was probably the best part of my game.” The setup of the course stood out to him. “The greens were so firm and fast today, it felt like we were playing a mini–US Open out here. That surprised me as it was unexpected,” he added. Margolis got off to a dream start, which set the tone for the rest of his round. “Beginning my round with four birdies in a row gave me a lot of confidence, especially making two long putts on Holes 2 and 3,” he said. “When you know you have the speed dialed in, it’s easier to attack the flag.” Despite the strong showing, he remains realistic about his position in the season-long standings. “I’m not thinking about the Order of Merit, to be honest. I know I’m still far away and need two very good results to make something happen,” he admitted. “So I’m just focused on myself and trying to hit the best shot I can on every shot. It’s a simple thing—but hard to do. Today’s main goal was to do that, and I believe I did it well, and that’s the plan for the next two days too.”

Italy’s Davide Buchi, 29, navigated the opening round of the tournament with a bogey-free 6 under-par, 66 to be in a 6-way tie for 3rd place. He began the day on the front nine holes, where he carded birdies on holes 1, 3, and 4. Once he made the turn to the back nine, he added three more birdies on holes 11,13, and 16. Reflecting on his round, Buchi was pleased with how he handled the course. “It went very well,” he said. “I played very well from tee to green today. I hit some good iron shots into the greens and kept the right attitude to stay under par.” Course management, he noted, was key. “I didn’t hit a lot of drivers out here,” he explained. “I found it to be more of a strategy course, so it’s really about placing the ball in the right spots and having good yardages into the greens as they are very firm.” As for the bigger picture, Buchi is keeping things simple. “I’m just focused on hitting good shots and trusting the process,” he said. “I’m not paying much attention to the leaderboard or the rankings, right now, I’m really just focused on my own golf.”

Spain’s Jorge Maicas, 28, winner of the 2025 Gösser Open and currently 8th in the Order of Merit, sits in the 6-way tie for 3rd place after the opening round of the tournament. He is looking for a solid performance this week to try and make a move in the standings. Maicas opened his round on the 1st hole and carded three birdies on the front nine. On the back nine, he added four more birdies, with a single bogey being the only blemish on his card, finishing with a 6 under-par, 66. “The day went really well overall,” Maicas said after his round. “The weather was pretty good, which definitely helped with the results. I was driving the ball really well and hitting a lot of greens in regulation, which gave me plenty of birdie opportunities.” Looking ahead, he knows what it will take to stay in contention. “The key for the next couple of days will be to stay patient on the greens and accept mistakes when they come,” he noted. “I’m not really thinking about the ranking right now. I’m just focused on taking it day by day and putting together some solid rounds.”

Asier Aguirre Izcue, 26, from Spain, the winner of the 2025 Memorial Giorgio Bordoni presented by Aon, also finds himself in the 6-way tie for 3rd place. Currently sitting 10th in the Order of Merit, Aguirre Izcue is aiming for a strong finish this week to climb further up the rankings and secure his spot among the top contenders. Starting his round on the 10th hole, Aguirre Izcue opened with a bogey but quickly turned things around with a string of birdies on holes 12, 13, 14, and 18. On his inward nine—the course’s front nine, he added another birdie at the 1st hole, offset by a bogey on the 3rd hole, before picking up two more birdies on the 4th and 7th holes. He signed for an opening round of six-under-par 66, putting himself in a strong position early in the week. “Very good, very tidy, and with very few mistakes,” he said when assessing his round. “Overall, everything worked well. I was in a good position the whole time, and the putting worked well. It was probably the best aspect of the day.”  Looking ahead, Aguirre Izcue knows consistency will be crucial. “I think continuing to make as few mistakes as possible and sinking putts will be the key,” he added. “It’s hard not to think about the ranking, but I try to stay in the present and take it one round at a time.”

Joining MargolisBuchiMaicas, and Aguirre Izcue at 6 under-par 66 after the opening round are Spain’s Borja Martin and France’s Paul Franquet, rounding out a tightly packed group in pursuit of the lead.

The 2025 Parma Alps Open Kicks Off This Week, Closing Out the Regular Season

Parma, October 7th, 2025 – Following a short break, the Alps Tour returns to action this week in Italy for the final event of the 2025 regular season: the Parma Alps Open. Scheduled for October 9th – 11th, the tournament will be held at Golf del Ducato Parma – La Rocca, situated just outside the city of Parma. While this venue has yet to host an official Alps Tour regular-season event, it has previously been used as one of the venues for Stage 1 of the Alps Tour Qualifying School.

This week marks the final tournament of the regular season, a crucial event for players aiming to secure important points to climb the Order of Merit rankings or a last chance to secure their positions. As the season nears its conclusion, every result could significantly impact the standings. With promotion to the 2026 HotelPlanner Tour on the line for the top five players in the final Order of Merit standings, the stakes are high, and all eyes will be on the outcome as players vie for their chance to advance.

Ahead of the official tournament start on October 9th, the event week will begin on October 8th with a Pro-Am featuring 20 teams, played in a Best Ball Aggregate to Par format with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. local time.

The Field

A strong and competitive field is set to tee off in Italy for the 17th and final event of the regular season, as players battle for their place among the season’s elite. All ten players currently ranked inside the Order of Merit Top 10 will be in the field, along with most of this season’s tournament winners.

Spain’s Javier Barcos, winner of the 2025 New Giza Open and 2025 Longwy Alps Open, leads the Order of Merit heading into the week. Close behind in second place is France’s Quentin Debove, fresh off his recent victory at the 2025 Hauts de France–Pas de Calais Golf Open. Italy’s Jacopo Vecchi Fossa, winner of the 2025 Open de La Mirabelle d’Or, rounds out the top three.

Ireland’s Ronan Mullarney, the 2023 Order of Merit winner, currently sits in fourth place, followed by Spain’s Javier Calles Roman, winner of the 2025 Lacanau Alps Open, in fifth place. Spain’s Alvaro Hernandez Cabezuela, a two-time winner this season (2025 Red Sea Little Venice Open and 2025 Tunisian Golf Open), holds sixth place. In seventh is the Netherlands’ Jerry Ji, who claimed the 2025 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand.

Spain’s Jorge Maicas, winner of the 2025 Gösser Open, is in eighth place, while Italy’s Andrea Romano, another two-time winner this season (2025 Alps de Andalucia–Roquetas de Mar and 2025 Fred Olsen Alps de La Gomera), occupies ninth place. Spain’s Asier Aguirre Izcue, winner of the 2025 Memorial Giorgio Bordoni presented by Aon, completes the current top 10.

Alongside this season’s winners, who are currently in the top 10 of the rankings, Italy’s Luca Galliano will also be present. He claimed victory at the 2025 season-opening event, the Ein Bay Open.

Alvaro Hernandez Cabezuela, Andrea Romano, and Javier Barcos each enter this week with two victories already under their belts this season. A third win would mark a standout achievement and guarantee immediate promotion to the HotelPlanner Tour.

Absent from this week’s field are three of this season’s winners, Spain’s Rocco Repetto Taylor, who triumphed at the La Cigale Golf Open, as he earned promotion to the HotelPlanner Tour following his victory at the Challenge de Cádiz. Also missing are Antonio Hortal, winner of the Alps de Las Castillas, and France’s Victor Dubuisson, who claimed the 2025 Biarritz Cup by C&S Partners in a rare Alps Tour appearance.

This week, a field of 120 players representing 13 different nations, such as Argentina, Austria, Brazil, England, Spain, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Jersey, Monaco, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, will compete for the title.

The 2025 Parma Alps Open will be a 54-hole stroke-play event, with a cut made after 36 holes to the top 40 professional players and ties, including all amateurs within the cut. In case of a tie after 54 holes, a sudden-death play-off will determine the winner of the inaugural edition.

Quentin Debove Triumphs in Shortened 2025 Hauts de France–Pas de Calais Golf Open

Saint-Omer, September 13th, 2025- France’s Quentin Debove secured his first Alps Tour title at the 2025 Hauts de France–Pas de Calais Golf Open, finishing with a two-day total of 3-under-par. Just one shot behind in solo second place Ireland’s Hugh Foley at 2-under-par. Four players shared third place at 1-under: France’s Augustin HoléLucas Fallotico, and Manfredi Manica from Italy, and Malte Von Blankenfeld from Germany.

Adverse weather heavily impacted the tournament schedule. Play was first suspended on Friday at 2:24 p.m. due to heavy rain and flooded greens. It resumed at 4:30 p.m. and continued until 8:08 p.m., when it was halted due to darkness. Round 2 was completed this morning with play resuming at 8:00 a.m. local time.

Round 3 officially began at 11:15 a.m. as a shotgun start but was suspended at 12:51 p.m. due to inclement weather. After thorough consideration, and taking into account the course conditions, continued weather issues, and limited daylight, the Tournament Committee made the decision to cancel Round 3 and reduce the event to 36 holes.

The €42,500 prize fund will be awarded in full, while Order of Merit points will be reduced by 90% in accordance with Alps Tour regulations.

As the 2025 Alps Tour season approaches its final events, the upcoming tournaments take on heightened significance in the race for Order of Merit points. With only a couple of tournaments left before the season culminates in the Grand Final, players are fiercely battling for a top-five finish in the standings that secures promotion to the 2026 HotelPlanner Tour. For some, it’s about maintaining momentum and defending their position, while for others, it’s a vital chance to climb the rankings and keep their dreams alive. The pressure is mounting, and every shot counts as the season reaches its decisive phase.

The 2025 Hauts de France – Pas de Calais Golf Open was a co-sanctioned event between the Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS) and the Alps Tour. The fields featured 132 players, evenly split between the two tours, each competing under identical conditions but for separate prize purses and titles.

Final Round Player Quotes

Quentin Debove, 23, from France, captured his first Alps Tour title at the 2025 Hauts de France – Pas de Calais Golf Open with a two-day total of 3-under-par. After opening with a 2-over-par 73 in the first round, he bounced back impressively with a 5-under-par 66 in Round 2. Debove has been a consistent presence near the top of the leaderboard all season, with multiple Top 10 finishes. He entered the week ranked 3rd on the Alps Tour Order of Merit, still seeking his breakthrough victory. With this victory, Debove earned €6,400 and 5,872.50 Order of Merit points, moving him into 2nd place in the Alps Tour Order of Merit standings ahead of the final regular season event in October. “I’m super happy, it’s been close many times, so I’m very grateful to finally get it done here in France,” said Debove. “The conditions weren’t easy with the wind and the rain. I wasn’t patient enough during the first round and made too many bogeys, but I stayed focused and managed the course much better yesterday.” Reflecting on the significance of the win, he added, “I know I can get it done in any conditions, which makes me happy. I’m confident in my game and in the work my team and I have done. The timing was perfect, I knew I needed some strong results, and this will help a lot for the last two tournaments.” Debove also acknowledged the challenges and growth throughout the season: “I’ve learned a lot this year. All the close calls helped prepare me for this moment, and I’m grateful we’ve had the chance to play in so many different conditions.” Debove credited his father for being a steady presence on the bag: “My dad caddied for me and helped me navigate through the tough conditions. He was also there in Biarritz when I shot 59. I wouldn’t have done it without him.”

At the conclusion of the 2025 Hauts de France–Pas de Calais Golf Open, Spain’s Javier Barcos remains at the top of the current Alps Tour Order of Merit standings. France’s Quentin Debove moves into second place following his victory, while Italy’s Jacopo Vecchi Fossa rounds out the top three. Ireland’s Ronan Mullarney climbs into fourth place, with Spain’s Javier Calles Roman rounding out the top five.

LETAS

In the LET Access Series event, Fernanda Lira from Mexico clinched her third win of the season in a playoff against Iceland’s Ragga Kristinsdottir after the final round of the 2025 Hauts de France Pas de Calais Golf Open was cancelled. It took three holes for the pair to be separated, with Lira winning on the third hole after putting for par. Speaking about what it means to get her third win, Lira said: “It feels good. I am happy. I just wanted to win without Ryan on the bag to show I can do it alone. I really wanted to play in windy and rainy weather. Having a win in this weather is special even though today was incredibly tough.”

Lira now moves to second on the Order of Merit with one point between her and the current leader, England’s Gemma Clews. The Mexican’s LET card is now secure. “It feels amazing to have it secure, I can’t wait for next year and to be back.”

Format & Prize Fund

Quentin Debove, winner of the 2025 Hauts de France–Pas de Calais Golf Open, earned a winner’s check of €6,400.00 along with 5,872.50 Order of Merit points.

The Alps Tour will now take a brief break before returning to action at the 2025 Parma Alps Open, scheduled for October 9th to 11th at Golf del Ducato Percorso La Rocca Parma. This event will be the final regular-season tournament before the 2025 Alps Tour Grand Final, where players will be competing for crucial points and positioning ahead of the season’s decisive showdown.

12th September 2025 | Alps Tour Golf

Round 2 Suspended in France with France’s Quentin Debove Holding Clubhouse Lead

Saint-Omer, September 12th, 2025- The 2025 Hauts de France – Pas de Calais Golf Open continued today with the second round teeing off at 8:15 a.m. local time at AA Saint-Omer Golf Club, where players set out from both the 1st and 10th tees amid changing weather conditions.

At 1:01 p.m. local time, the Tournament Director suspended play due to heavy rainfall and flooded greens. Fortunately, conditions improved quickly, and play resumed after a 25-minute delay. Afternoon tee times were pushed back by 30 minutes. However, at 2:24 p.m., play was once again suspended as persistent rain led to further flooding on the course. Luckily, at 4:30 p.m., play was able to resume and continued until 8:08 p.m. when it was suspended for darkness. Round 2 will resume tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. local time.

With several groups still on the course yet to complete their second round, France’s Quentin Debove holds the current clubhouse lead with a two-day total of 3-under-par.

With the 2025 Alps Tour season entering its final stretch, this week’s tournament represents far more than another stop on the calendar; it’s a pivotal moment in the chase for Order of Merit points. With only a couple of events remaining before the season-ending Grand Final, the battle for a top-five finish in the Order of Merit at the end of the season and promotion to the 2026 HotelPlanner Tour is intensifying. For some players, it’s about sustaining momentum and solidifying their position; for others, it’s a crucial opportunity to climb the rankings and keep their aspirations alive. The stakes are rising, and every round played could prove decisive.

Reinforcing their ongoing partnership, this year’s tournament is once again co-sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS) and the Alps Tour. The field comprises 132 players, equally divided between the two tours with 66 participants each. Although all competitors will play under the same conditions on the same course, they will vie for separate prize purses and individual titles.

Round 2 Player Quotes

France’s Quentin Debove, 23, surged into the clubhouse lead at the 2025 Hauts de France – Pas de Calais Golf Open after carding a 5-under-par 66 in today’s second round. Debove, who opened the tournament with a 2 over-par, 73 and was tied for 26th place, now holds a two-day total of 3-under-par. Still in search of his first Alps Tour title, Debove has been a consistent contender this season, recording multiple Top 10 finishes and currently sitting 3rd on the Alps Tour Order of Merit“I hit 18 greens in regulation today and found a lot of fairways,” said Debove“I was hitting really good shots out there, even in the rain and wind; it felt pretty easy to manage the conditions. The biggest difference was my course management and my attitude. It’s tough for everyone out there, but I stayed patient and let the birdies come to me.” He began his round on the 10th hole, making early birdies on 10 and 12 before adding four more on the front nine, offset by a single bogey. Looking ahead to the final round, he remains focused and grounded. “Tomorrow, the key is going to be course management. My dad is caddying for me this week, which is a huge help in these conditions. I’m not planning to change anything—I’ve been working hard for this and I’m ready. I’m just taking it day by day, trying to shoot the lowest round possible. If I trust my process, I should be good to go. Obviously, I’m chasing that first win!”

While France’s Quentin Debove currently holds the clubhouse lead at 3-under-par, Ireland’s Hugh Foley remains a strong contender, also at 3-under-par with seven holes left to play in his second round. Italy’s Manfredi Manica is likewise in the mix at 2-under-par, with seven holes still to complete.

France’s Augustin Holé, 28, winner of the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final, currently sits in a tie for 4th place after his round two, where he carded an even par round, 71, bringing his two-day total to 1-under-par. Starting on the 10th hole, Holé’s round was eventful, with early bogeys on holes 10 and 14 followed by a birdie at the 16th. The front nine brought further ups and downs, including a double bogey on the 6th, a birdie at the 7th hole, and a strong finish with an eagle on the par-5 9th, his final hole of the day. “My game still isn’t quite at its best. I missed quite a lot today, but my short game really saved me,” Holé said. “I stayed patient and committed to my game plan. I guess I hit the right shots at the right time to finish 3-under on the last three holes, which gave me some momentum.” Looking ahead to the final round, Holé remains focused on execution over outcome. “The goal is simple: beat the course tomorrow and try to play a bit better. If some putts drop, I think I can put together a solid final round. I just need to be patient and be committed; those are the two keys.” While the Alps Tour Order of Merit lingers in the background, Holé is keeping perspective. “It’s in the back of my mind, of course, but honestly, I’m quite far from the top five right now. I can’t control that. What I can control is my process, and that’s where my focus is.”

Alongside Holé, Italy’s Lucas Fallotico, 22, completed his second round with a 2-over-par 73, bringing his two-day total to 1-under-par. Fellow Italian Alessandro Nodari is also currently tied at 1-under-par, though he has yet to finish his second round.

LETAS

In the LET Access Series event, Iceland’s Ragga Kristinsdottir delivered a flawless second round at the 2025 Hauts de France – Pas de Calais, carding a 5-under-par 67 to make a significant move up the leaderboard. The 28-year-old, currently ranked sixth on the Order of Merit, produced five birdies without a single dropped shot, including back-to-back birdies on holes 11 and 12.“I’m beyond happy with that round,” said Kristinsdottir. “We got lucky with the weather for the first 10 holes, and we knew tougher conditions were coming, so the plan was to get off to a hot start. I was five under through 12 and just tried to hold it together from there. I’ve been struggling mentally with my putting—it really had ‘left the building’ since Sweden—but it feels like it’s finally back.”

Also sharing the lead is Mexico’s Fernanda Lira, currently fourth in the Order of Merit and already a two-time winner this season. Lira continued her strong form, navigating the blustery conditions with precision and resilience. “I did miss out on two good eagle opportunities, and that stung a bit,” Lira admitted. “But I had a couple of great recovery shots and gave myself a lot of chances. I never really get to play in wind, rain, and cold—back home in Mexico, if it rains, it usually thunders and play stops. So, this year has really taught me that I can compete in these tougher conditions.” Lira added that she’s aiming for a strong result this week, especially as she plans to skip next week’s event in preparation for La Sella“I want a good result here because I won’t be playing next week. I’ll be back for the final event—I want to close the season the right way.”

Format & Prize Fund

The 2025 Hauts de France- Pas de Calais Golf Open is a 54-hole stroke-play event where a cut will be made after 36 holes to the top 30 professional players and ties. In the event of a tie after 54 holes, a sudden-death playoff will determine the winner.

The players are competing for a total prize fund of €42,500 and 45,000 Order of Merit points. The champion of the 2025 Hauts de France- Pas de Calais Golf Open will take home €6,400.00 and 6,525 Order of Merit points.

11th September 2025 | Alps Tour Golf

Lucas Fallotico Leads After Round 1 of the 2025 Hauts de France–Pas de Calais Golf Open.

Saint-Omer, September 11th, 2025- After the opening round of the 2025 Hauts de France–Pas de Calais Golf Open, the leaderboard is tightly packed. Italy’s Lucas Fallotico leads the way with a 3 under-par. In a 5-way tie for 2nd place at 1 under-par: Italy’s Matteo Cristoni and Davide Buchi, France’s Thomas Colombel and Augustin Holé, and Maximilien Sturdza from Switzerland.

The first round of the 2025 Hauts de France – Pas de Calais Golf Open teed off this morning at 8:15 a.m. local time at AA Saint-Omer Golf Club, with players starting from both the 1st and 10th tees amid mixed weather conditions. At 12:26 p.m., play was suspended by the Tournament Director due to heavy rain and flooded greens. Fortunately, conditions improved quickly, allowing play to resume after a brief suspension. Afternoon groups faced only a 45-minute delay, and the round was able to conclude just before nightfall.

Marking its continued collaboration, this year’s tournament is once again co-sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS) and the Alps Tour. The 132-player field features equal representation from both tours, with 66 competitors apiece. While all players will compete on the same course under identical conditions, they will contend for separate prize funds and individual titles.

Round 1 Player Quotes

Italy’s Lucas Fallotico, 22, holds the lead after the opening round of the 2025 Hauts de France – Pas de Calais Golf Open, carding a 3 under-par, 68. Still in search of his first Alps Tour title, Fallotico’s best finish this season is a third place at the 2025 Lacanau Alps Open. He started strong with four birdies on his opening nine holes, on the 5th, 7th, 8th, and 9th—before adding another on the 10th hole. Despite dropping shots on holes 11, 13, and 16, he bounced back with a birdie on the 17th hole to close out a solid round. “Today was a tough day, both golf-wise and physically, but I’m happy with how I played and how I managed the round,” said Fallotico“The standings are very tight, and the conditions will make victory very hard-fought for all contenders.” Reflecting on the challenging weather, he added, “I have to say I was lucky to have played in the afternoon, as the weather conditions were better, but managing the strong wind was still difficult. However, I’m pleased with how I approached the round mentally and how I handled myself today.” Looking ahead, Fallotico emphasized the importance of a steady approach: “The key points for the next rounds will certainly be consistency from the tee and patience in managing the rain and wind. Today was definitely a positive day—I really liked the way I played. I could have complained about a few too many errors on the back nine, but given the conditions, that’s perfectly fine.”

In a 5-way tie for 2nd place with a first-round score of 1 under-par 70: Italy’s Matteo Cristoni and Davide Buchi, France’s Thomas Colombel and Augustin Holé, and Maximilien Sturdza from Switzerland.

Italy’s Matteo Cristoni, 23, who turned professional earlier this year, delivered a steady and composed performance in his opening round at the 2025 Hauts de France – Pas de Calais Golf OpenCristoni carded an eagle on the 9th hole, and he added a birdie on the 14th hole. Despite the challenging conditions, he kept his round under control, dropping only two shots with bogeys on holes 12 and 16. It was a solid start for the young Italian as he continues to find his rhythm in his debut professional season.

Thomas Colombel, 23, from France opened his tournament with a solid performance, posting four birdies and three bogeys in today’s round. “It went well, it was a shaky start, but I managed to stay in the round by making some good putts,” he said. “Toward the end, I played better and was able to make some birdies.” Colombel remained grounded about his approach: “Right now, I’m just happy and staying in the present moment.” Despite the difficult conditions, he embraced the challenge: “I’m from Normandy, so I’m kind of used to this weather. I didn’t even have rain gear, I just went out there and enjoyed the rain, I guess.” Looking ahead, Colombel added, “I’ll just keep myself in a system that I trust,” while also acknowledging with a smile, “I need to improve my chipping.”

Italy’s Davide Buchi, 28, navigated the challenging opening round with composure, carding an eagle on the 7th hole, two birdies (on holes 9 and 12), and three bogeys (on holes 4, 5, and 13). Reflecting on his performance, Buchi said, “It went very well. The conditions were tough, but I kept hitting solid shots and stayed patient.” His mindset remains steady as the week unfolds: “I’ll keep working and waiting for my time to come,” he noted. With unpredictable weather continuing to affect play, Buchi adopted a pragmatic approach: “It was very tough. I just aimed to make as many pars as possible and took my chances when it was time to make a birdie.” Looking ahead, he added, “If the conditions stay the same, I’ll follow a more conservative strategy. I’m just focused on my attitude.”

Maximilien Sturdza, 25, from Switzerland, delivered one of the most memorable moments of the opening round with a spectacular hole-in-one on the par-3 2nd hole, with a 4-iron from 207 meters. His round also included three birdies (holes 7, 11, and 15) and four bogeys (holes 3, 6, 12, and 16), all played under challenging weather conditions. “The round was very tough with today’s rain and wind,” he said. “It was nice to be able to start off well with a hole-in-one on 2 — it kept me going for the rest of the round.” Reflecting on his approach, Sturdza added, “I’m not going to change too much of what I did today. I’ll stay patient and give myself as many opportunities as I can.” Despite the difficult conditions, he remained optimistic: “I just saw it as a chance and didn’t take it as a bad thing. The feeling of making a hole-in-one is very satisfying — it gave me confidence in my choices and showed me I was hitting some great shots.” Looking ahead, Sturdza remains focused: “Since the conditions don’t look like they’re going to improve, I’m going to stay patient and keep a positive mindset.”

Augustin Holé, 28, of France and winner of the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final, opened his tournament with an opening round that included three birdies on holes 5, 9, and 18 and two bogeys on holes 2 and 10. Reflecting on his performance, Holé admitted, “I swear I didn’t look at the leaderboard at all, so I’m very surprised by where I currently stand, but I guess I’m doing quite well.” With a clear focus on consistency and discipline, he added, “Stay patient and stay in the process, that’s my main focus. I have a new caddie, Jeff, this week, and we’re doing everything we can to stay fully committed on every shot, from the 1st tee to the 18th green.” Holé noted the value of having a caddie in difficult weather: “It’s so much easier to handle the conditions with a caddie. The weather wasn’t as bad as I expected, and I consider myself lucky; maybe I was in the better part of the draw.” Confident in his recent form, he concluded, “I think my game has been consistent since the start of the season. Right now, I’m just making better decisions, working more on my short game, and trusting the process to finish the season on a strong note.”

LETAS

In the LET Access Series event, Sweden’s Moa Fridell surged out of the gates with an impressive opening round of 66 (-6), securing a two-stroke lead heading into tomorrow’s second round.  A round of eight birdies and only two bogeys put Fridell comfortably at the top of the leaderboard, and today marks her lowest round ever as a professional.  Speaking about her first round, Fridell said: “It was tough out there. I made some pretty good putts out there today. I hit the greens, rolled it in and it was fun out there. Fridell has played 15 events this season and has a highest finish of tied 18th at the Allegria Ladies Open, back in May.

8th September 2025 | Alps Tour Golf

Back-to-Back Weeks on French Soil: 2025 Hauts de France–Pas de Calais Golf Open Begins Thursday.

Saint-Omer, September 8th, 2025- The Alps Tour stays in France this week, but shifts to the northern region of Hauts-de-France–Pas-de-Calais for the 16th event of the regular season, the 2025 Hauts de France–Pas de Calais Golf Open, a co-sanctioned tournament.

The event will be held from September 11th– 13th at Aa Saint-Omer Golf Club, located near the town of Saint-Omer, France.

As with the past three editions, the tournament is co-sanctioned between the Ladies European Tour Access Series(LETAS) and the Alps Tour. The field will be equally divided, featuring 66 players from each tour. While competing on the same course and under the same conditions, players will contend for two separate prize funds and titles, one for each tour.

This marks the fourth consecutive year the event is included on the Alps Tour schedule. In previous editions, it has held various designations, having been part of the MasterCard Tour, the European Challenge Tour, and the DP World Tour.

The Field

This week’s 2025 Hauts de France–Pas de Calais Golf Open, co-sanctioned with LETAS, will feature a highly competitive field of players.

This week’s tournament brings together the top 10 players on the Alps Tour Order of Merit, along with most of this season’s winners, promising a highly competitive event. However, Spain’s Rocco Repetto Taylor, winner of the La Cigale Golf Open, will be absent after earning promotion following his victory at the Challenge de Cádiz on the HotelPlanner Tour. Also missing are Antonio Hortal, winner of the Alps de Las Castillas, and France’s Victor Dubuisson, who claimed the 2025 Biarritz Cup by C&S Partners in a rare Alps Tour appearance.

Spain’s Javier Barcos, the current leader, headlines the field, closely followed by Italy’s Jacopo Vecchi Fossa in second place. France’s Quentin Debove and Spain’s Alvaro Hernandez Cabezuela, ranked third and fourth respectively, will also be in action. Ireland’s Ronan Mullarney rounds out the top five, with Spain’s Javier Calles Roman sitting just behind in sixth. Jerry Ji from the Netherlands currently holds seventh position, trailed by Spain’s Asier Aguirre Izcue in eighth. Completing the top ten are Jorge Maicas from Spain and Italy’s Andrea Romano, ranked ninth and tenth, respectively.

This week presents a major opportunity for Andrea RomanoAlvaro Hernandez Cabezuela, and Javier Barcos. With two wins each on the season, a third triumph would not only highlight their dominance but also secure instant promotion to the HotelPlanner Tour and full playing privileges for the remainder of the year.

This week’s event carries significant weight in the broader context of the 2025 Alps Tour season. As the schedule nears its conclusion, players are not only competing for the tournament title but also for critical Order of Merit points. The stakes are high, as only the top five players at the end of the season will earn promotion to the 2026 HotelPlanner Tour, a coveted step forward in the professional ranks.

With just a handful of events remaining before the Alps Tour Grand Final, the pressure continues to build. For those near the top, it’s a chance to consolidate their position. For others, it’s one of the last opportunities to mount a late-season push. Either way, the outcome of this week’s tournament could play a decisive role in shaping the final standings.

Pro-Ams

Two pro-am events are scheduled during tournament week.

The first will take place on Tuesday, 9th September, featuring 12 teams, each composed of two professionals (one Alps Tour player and one LETAS player), competing in a Tour Scramble format. Tee times will run from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. local time.

The following day, Wednesday 10th September, the traditional Tour Scramble shotgun pro-am will be held, with 24 teams participating. This event will include 12 Alps Tour players and 12 LETAS players and will begin at 1:30 p.m. local time.

The Course

Located in the heart of the scenic Aa Valley in Saint-Omer, France, the AA Saint-Omer Golf Club is a renowned 27-hole golf facility featuring an 18-hole championship course measuring 6,182 meters (par 71), along with a 9-hole course ideal for beginners or players looking to improve their short game. Designed by Dutch golfer Joan Dudok van Heel, the only course in France attributed to him, the layout blends harmoniously with the natural surroundings, offering spectacular views and a challenging, undulating terrain bordered by mature trees.

Since opening in 1990, the club has built a strong reputation and is consistently ranked among the top 30 courses in Northern France. The championship course has hosted an annual professional tournament since 1997, earning a long-standing place on the international golf calendar. It became part of the European Challenge Tour in 2000 and was elevated to official DP World Tour status from 2003 until 2013. Due to scheduling conflicts with the U.S. Open, the event returned to the Challenge Tour in 2014. In 2022, the tournament entered a new chapter as a co-sanctioned event between the Alps Tour and the LET Access Series (LETAS), reaffirming the club’s ongoing commitment to the development of professional golf in Europe.

Sutri, September 7th 2025– We are proud to announce that the 10th edition of the Alps Tour Grand Final will be held from October 16th – 18th 2025 at Golf Nazionale in Sutri, located just north of Rome, Italy.

For the first time in its history, the prestigious season-ending tournament will be hosted at this venue, marking a significant milestone in its legacy.

Golf Nazionale, the official course of the Italian Golf Federation, has hosted several important professional tour events in recent years, and the opportunity to include the Alps Tour Grand Final is certainly an additional source of great pride. As President of Golf Nazionale, I am confident that the course and all the facilities we will provide to the finalist players will be fully prepared to ensure a high-quality standard for this prestigious event. It will be a pleasure to welcome all participants and to collaborate with the Alps Tour to guarantee the best possible outcome for the tournament,” said Alessandro Rogato, President of Golf Nazionale.

“I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the President of the Italian Golf FederationMr. Cristiano Cerchiai, and the entire Federation, as well as the President of Golf NazionaleMr. Alessandro Rogato, for their gracious hospitality in hosting our 2025 Grand Final at this remarkable venue. The longstanding support of the Italian Golf Federation for the Alps Tour has been invaluable in advancing professional golf, and we are truly grateful for their ongoing dedication. It is a true honor to compete on such a distinguished course, and we look forward to seeing how our players will embrace the challenge. We are proud to be part of this historic event and anticipate a week marked by great competition and sportsmanship.” said Estelle Richard, Alps Tour Chief Executive & Operations Director.

“I’m very pleased that the 2025 Alps Tour Grand Final will be played at the beautiful Golf Nazionale in Italy,” said Alessandro Pia, Deputy Director of Tour Operations and Tournament Director. “It is widely regarded as one of the most technical courses in the country. It has been selected by the Italian Golf Federation as the venue for the professional qualification exams, and by the HotelPlanner Tour for both Q-School Stage 1 and regular-season tournaments. In 2025, the HotelPlanner Tour will once again return to this exceptional venue just two weeks before the Grand Final. With typically ideal weather in Rome in mid-October, I’m confident that course conditions will be outstanding. The top 50 Alps Tour players who qualify for the final tournament of the season will need to bring their very best to take on the challenge of this iconic venue, the perfect stage to conclude a great season — and I’m sure all the players will love it.”

Competitors will play 54 holes with no cut, vying for a total prize fund of €55,000 and 60,000 Order of Merit points. The winner will receive €10,000 along with 9,500 Order of Merit points. In case of a tie after 54 holes, there will be a sudden-death play-off to determine the tournament winner.

At the conclusion of the tournament, the top five players in the Order of Merit standings will earn a Playing Category on the HotelPlanner Tour for the 2026 season.

The tournament is open to the top 50 professional players in the 2025 Alps Tour Order of Merit following the Parma Alps Open, as well as ranked amateur members within the “Top 50.” Eligible players must have participated in at least 5 events in 2 different countries in addition to Italy (the venue of the Grand Final will count as the third country if Italy is not in the previous 2 already played) during the season. There is no reserve list for this event; therefore, if a player in the Top 50 withdraws, their place will not be filled by the next player down the Order of Merit.

The Course

Recognized as one of Italy’s premier championship venues, Golf Nazionale is set to host the final tournament of the 2025 season. Nestled in the picturesque region of Upper Lazio, the par-72 layout spans 6,482 meters, delivering a fitting finale to an exciting year of competition.

Designed by the acclaimed team of George and Jim Fazio, along with David Mezzacane, the course is set amidst ancient oak forests and blends seamlessly into the natural landscape.

Over the years, it has hosted numerous prestigious tournaments beyond those previously mentioned, including the 1991 World Cup, an edition of the Ladies Italian Open (LET), the 2023 Junior Ryder Cup, and the DP World Tour Q-School Stage 1.

Renowned for its strategic layout and immaculate conditioning, it promises an exciting and competitive setting for the season-ending event of the 2025 schedule.
