Alps Tour heads to Golf International de Roissy for the Open de Roissy-Grand Prix PGA France

France, May 27th, 2026 – The Alps Tour heads to a brand-new venue this week as the Open de Roissy-Grand Prix PGA France joins the schedule for the first time. Created in 2020, the tournament is now officially sanctioned by the Alps Tour and will be played at Golf International de Roissy, located just a drive away from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Promoted by the PGA France, the event will offer a minimum prize fund of €53,000, along with 45,000 Order of Merit points, including €7,700 and 6,525 points awarded to the winner.

The competition will be played over 54 holes of stroke play, with a cut after 36 holes to the top 40 professionals and ties, including all amateurs within the cut. In the event of a tie after 54 holes, a sudden-death playoff will determine the champion.

The Field

The battle at the top of the Order of Merit continues north of Paris. Italy’s Andrea Romano slightly extended his lead last week in Lacanau, but France’s Maxime Legros will be eager to close the gap on home soil during this second event in France.

After finishing second and third respectively in Lacanau, France’s Nathan Legendre and Spain’s Jorge Maicas will aim to carry their strong form into this week. The entire top 15 in the Order of Merit is present in Roissy.

The field is composed of 141 players, including 6 amateurs, with 72 French players competing this week.

The Course

For the 2026 Open de Roissy-Grand Prix PGA France, players will compete at Golf International de Roissy, located in the Val d’Oise, just 20 kilometres northeast of Paris and close to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. Set across 90 hectares in the heart of the Vallée Verte, the venue combines easy accessibility with a peaceful natural environment.

Opened in 2020 and designed by Michel Niedbala, the championship layout features an 18-hole, par-72 course measuring 6,515 metres, blending links-style holes, water hazards, and undulating greens. With every hole offering a distinct character, the course was designed to preserve and enhance its green surroundings while providing a true championship test.

Anthony Grenier turns back the clock with Lacanau Alps Open victory

France, May 23rd, 2026 – With a tightly packed leaderboard and everything still to play for on Saturday at UGOLF Lacanau, experience ultimately made the difference. Starting the day two shots off the lead and nearly 40 minutes ahead of the final group, Anthony Grenier produced the perfect final round to claim the Lacanau Alps Open title.

The 50-year-old Frenchman, who joined the Legends Tour earlier this season, carded a flawless 65 (-7) to secure victory. It marks his second Alps Tour title — remarkably, 18 years after his first win, which came at the 2008 Lyoness Open in Austria.

Full leaderboard

Fellow Frenchman Nathan Legendre tried to chase him down but eventually finished alone in second place, two shots back. Another French player completed the podium, with Louis Bonté sharing third place alongside Spain’s Jorge Maicas.

The players will return to action on Thursday, May 28th, once again in France for the Open de Roissy PGA France.

Round 3 Player Quotes

Anthony Grenier: “It feels good to beat the young guys — it gives me an idea of where my game stands, and I’m happy about it. I’ve made a few changes with Victor Dubuisson and have been working hard. I felt pretty calm before the final round. I’d been struggling a bit with my putting since the start of the season, so on Friday evening I spent three solid hours working on it. I found a good feeling, and today it worked pretty well.”

Nathan Legendre: “It’s a really good result, especially considering my recent performances. It brings a lot of positives and shows that the work we’ve been doing is heading in the right direction. Anthony played a great round today. Maybe I missed one or two putts, but I can’t blame myself for much — I gave everything, especially at the end.”

Spain’s Pablo Alperi and Argentina’s Gregorio Ferrandez lead the way before final round in Lacanau

France, May 22nd, 2026 – A thrilling final round awaits at UGOLF Lacanau, with around a dozen players separated by just four shots heading into Saturday at the Lacanau Alps Open.

At the top of the leaderboard sit Spain’s Pablo Alperi and Argentina’s Gregorio Ferrandez, after rounds of 68 (-4) and 66 (-6) respectively during the second round.

The leading duo holds only a one-shot advantage over a group of five players featuring Spain’s Jorge Maicas and Victor Garcia Broto, France’s Louis Bonté and Nathan Legendre, and Italy’s Luca Cavalli.

Just two shots back, Italy’s Pietro Boeris and Switzerland’s Maximilien Sturdza remain firmly in contention heading into the final day.

For tomorrow’s final round, play will begin at 10:40 a.m. from both the 1st and 10th tees. At the conclusion of the third round, the winner will receive €7,920 and 6,525 Order of Merit points. In the event of a tie, a playoff will determine the champion.

Round 2 Player Quote

Jorge Maicas:I played very well today, especially with my iron shots and on the greens. I also had a good day off the tee apart from a couple of holes. Tomorrow, the plan is to stay patient, stick to my strategy, and avoid thinking about the leaderboard. That will be my mindset for the final round.

England’s Mason Essam takes early lead in Lacanau

France, May 21st, 2026 – Playing in sunny morning conditions, Mason Essam delivered a flawless opening round on the Ardilouse course at UGOLF Lacanau to take the early lead at the Lacanau Alps Open.

The Englishman carded eight birdies and no bogeys for an impressive 64 (-8) to open the tournament in style.

Currently 29th in the Order of Merit, Essam holds a two-shot advantage over an Italian trio made up of Luca Cavalli, Mattia Comotti, and current Order of Merit leader Andrea Romano.

For Round 2, play will begin at 7:45 a.m. from both the 1st and 10th tees. At the conclusion of the second round, a cut will be made to the top 40 professionals and ties, who will advance to the final round (including all amateurs within the cut).

Round 1 Player Quote

Mason Essam: “It’s always nice to start with a bogey-free round — that’s not something I’m especially known for! Today, I stayed really focused on my process, picking clear targets and staying in the moment. My putter worked really well, especially on the front nine. I also really love this golf course. I had a good result here two years ago, and the greens are in unbelievable condition. Huge credit to the greenkeeping staff — it’s always a pleasure coming back to Lacanau.

The battle for the top of the Order of Merit continues in southwest France. Back at No. 1, Italy’s Andrea Romano will look to strengthen his position, while home favourite Maxime Legros hopes to reclaim the lead on French soil. Spain’s Alejandro Rodriguez Andreu triumphs in dramatic finish at the 34th Gösser Open

Austria, May 16th, 2026 – The final round of the 34th Gösser Open delivered plenty of drama at Golf Club Erzherzog Johann, where Spain’s Alejandro Rodriguez Andreu emerged victorious after a thrilling battle to claim his first Alps Tour title.

Full Leaderboard

Competing this week on an invitation from the Andorran Golf Federation, Rodriguez Andreu finished at -15 after an excellent closing 66 (-6), capped by a superb five-metre birdie putt on the 18th to secure the win.

France’s Augustin Holé mounted a strong charge with a brilliant 66 (-6) of his own, highlighted by an eagle on the opening hole, but ultimately finished one shot short. Italy’s Filippo Grossi and Andrea Romano also shared second place at -14.

Frenchmen Maxime Legros and Hermès Ferchaud shared fifth place, two strokes behind the winner. Overnight leader and Austrian amateur Jakob Lotschak eventually finished in seventh place.

With this victory, Rodriguez Andreu earns €7,200 and 6,525 Order of Merit points. Andrea Romano returns to the top of the Order of Merit standings, overtaking Maxime Legros, while Augustin Holé climbs to sixth place thanks to his third podium finish of the season.

The players will return to action on Thursday, May 21st, in France for the 2026 Lacanau Alps Open.

Round 3 Player Quotes

Alejandro Rodriguez Andreu: “I knew I had to go low today. Funny enough, before the round I told Maxi, my caddie, that we probably needed to get to 15-under, and it ended up being the right number. I just tried to stay patient, stay aggressive when needed, and avoid silly mistakes. Winning like this feels amazing.

This victory means so much to me, personally and professionally. Two months ago, I was actually thinking about quitting golf. I talked about it with my family, my parents and friends. To come here on an invitation and end up winning is incredibly special.

I only asked about the leaderboard on the 13th tee and found out I was two behind. After birdies on 13 and 14, I decided not to know anything else until later. Walking down the 18th fairway, Maxi told me that a birdie would give me the lead. I hit it to 20 feet and managed to hole the putt. That was pretty fun.

This win changes my plans completely. I was only planning to play the Alps Tour events in Spain and Andorra, but now I’ll probably play the full season. Having a schedule and knowing I’m in the tournaments gives me a real purpose moving forward.”

Augustin Holé: “I definitely gave myself a chance. I got off to a perfect start with an eagle on the first and kept pushing from there. From around holes 5 to 13 I had a really good stretch — something like six under par. So overall it was a really great day and a really great tournament. My only regret is the finish of the first round on 17 and 18. Other than that, I don’t have much to blame myself for. Even today’s bogeys came from poor golf shots, and that happens. It confirms that I’ve had a very good start to the season.

Now I’ll keep knocking on the door and wait for my moment to win. If I keep playing like this and continue preparing well, there’s no reason it won’t eventually go my way. I just need to stay patient.

A lot of things have contributed to my good start this season — a driver change has helped a lot, and some winter training in Terenife with Dubuisson thanks to my sponsor Gérald. Those little additions have made a difference and show that the work is paying off.

Austria’s Jakob Lotschak eyes breakthrough win on home soil

Austria, May 15th, 2026 – Austria’s Jakob Lotschak has put himself in a strong position to claim the first title of his career after moving into the lead at the Gösser Open.

Playing in conditions similar to those of the opening round, the 21-year-old amateur carded an impressive 67 (-5) despite a double bogey on the 10th. Competing in his first tournament of the season, Lotschak showed composure throughout the day to take control heading into Saturday’s final round.

Full leaderboard

However, nothing is decided yet at Golf Club Erzherzog Johann, a course known for producing low scores. Italy’s Filippo Grossi sits just one shot behind after a solid 68 (-4).

Fellow Italian Andrea Romano made a strong move up the leaderboard thanks to a bogey-free 65 (-7), climbing into a share of third place alongside the Netherlands’ Lars Keunen and Spain’s Alejandro Rodriguez Andreu.

For tomorrow’s final round, play will begin at 8:15 a.m. from both the 1st and 10th tees. At the conclusion of the third round, the winner will receive €7,200 and 6,525 Order of Merit points. In the event of a tie, a playoff will determine the champion.

Round 2 Player Quotes

Jakob Lotschak: “I did everything the same as on any tournament day — had a good warm-up, something good to eat, and got off to a smooth start with a birdie on the first. After that, I kept giving myself chances, and it turned into a really wonderful day. We had a few rain showers here and there, but overall everything went really well.

Playing an event like this in my home country is amazing. Having a home event and playing in front of local crowds is really special, and I hope lots of people come out tomorrow and enjoy the day. I think I will feel pressure tomorrow — that’s completely natural — but I’ll try to use it to my advantage, stay shot by shot, not get ahead of myself, and just enjoy everything.

Andrea Romano: “I played really good golf today. Tee to green, it was very solid. I just missed a few putts, but I’m happy with the round because a bogey-free score is always nice. For sure, I had the tougher draw yesterday with the rain, so it was difficult to stay dry and score in those conditions. Today was much better weather, and I’m happy with how I played both days. Let’s see what happens tomorrow.

I try not to think too much about a third win because when you’re up there, of course you want to move to the HotelPlanner Tour as soon as possible. I’m trying to stay focused on my golf, but it’s hard not to think about it.

Italy’s Davide Buchi storms into the lead at the Gösser Open

Austria, May 14th, 2026 – Morning starters enjoyed sunny and calm conditions at Golf Club Erzherzog Johann, while the afternoon wave faced rain throughout their round. Unsurprisingly, most of the early leaders came from the morning draw.

Among them, Italy’s Davide Buchi stole the show in the opening round of the Gösser Open. The 29-year-old matched the course record with an outstanding 62 (-10), highlighted by ten birdies.

Full leaderboard

Representing Golf Club Varese, Buchi already holds a commanding four-shot lead over a group of six players at -6, including Victor Veyret, Lars Keunen, amateur Jakob Lotschak, current Order of Merit leader Maxime Legros, Filippo Grossi, and Adrien Bonnet, the only player from the afternoon wave inside the top five.

For Round 2, play will begin at 7:30 a.m. from both the 1st and 10th tees. At the conclusion of the second round, a cut will be made to the top 40 professionals and ties, who will advance to the final round (including all amateurs within the cut).

Round 2 Player Quote

Davide Buchi: “I played pretty solid from the tee and into the greens, and I managed to make some putts early in the round, which gave me confidence to keep going. When you’re a lot under par, you always want more, but you have to stay patient and trust your decisions and targets. That’s what I did today, and I’m pretty proud of it. Tomorrow, I’ll try to keep the same mindset and hopefully hole a few more putts.

Victor Veyret: “It was a great day. Tee to green, it was probably one of my best rounds of the year so far. My putting wasn’t at its best, but I managed to hit the ball very close to the hole and made seven birdies. The conditions this morning were perfect — almost no wind and beautiful weather, so it was a real pleasure to play this course. Tomorrow, I’ll stick to my usual process, try to execute my plan and accept whatever comes. The tournament has been great so far — we really enjoy the organisation, the people at the clubhouse are very welcoming, and the food is good too.

Alps Tour heads to Austria for the 34th edition of the Gösser Open

Austria, May 12th, 2026 – As it has done every season since the creation of the Alps Tour in 2001, the circuit returns to Austria for the traditional Gösser Open, which celebrates its 34th edition this year. The tournament will take place at Golf Club Erzherzog Johann in Maria Lankowitz from Thursday, May 14th to Saturday, May 16th.

The event was first played in 1993 at Steiermärkischer Golf Club Murhof, before moving to Golf Club Erzherzog Johann in 2000, where it has remained ever since.

On Wednesday, May 13th, the traditional Gösser Open Best Ball Net & Gross Pro-Am will take place with a shotgun start. A total of 32 teams will compete in the popular pre-tournament event.

A minimum prize fund of €48,000 will be on offer, along with 45,000 Order of Merit points, including €6,900 and 6,525 points awarded to the winner.

The competition will be played over 54 holes of stroke play, with a cut after 36 holes to the top 40 professionals and ties, including all amateurs within the cut. In the event of a tie after 54 holes, a sudden-death playoff will determine the champion.

The Field

New Order of Merit leader Maxime Legros, fresh from his second victory of the season, will look to continue his strong form this week in Austria. Just ten points behind him, Italy’s Andrea Romano hopes to reclaim top spot in the rankings.

Spain’s Jorge Maicas, winner of last year’s Gösser Open, returns to defend his title and attempt to repeat last year’s success.

France’s Ewan Le Tennier, now inside the Order of Merit top 10 after two podium finishes in the last three events, will also aim to maintain his momentum.

The field is composed of 144 players, including 46 amateurs. A strong Austrian contingent of 48 players will attempt to become the 11th home winner of the event since it joined the Alps Tour schedule.

The Course

Located in Maria Lankowitz, around 40 kilometres from Graz, Golf Club Erzherzog Johann features a 5,967-metre, par-72 course designed by architect Herwig Zisser and inaugurated in 1992.

Set among the rolling landscapes of Western Styria and surrounded by lakes and forests, the venue is notable for its unique history: it was built on the site of a former coal mine as part of an environmental regeneration project. Scenic yet demanding, the layout rewards precision and smart course management.

The tournament course record stands at 63, achieved by Lukas Lipold in the second round of the 2022 Gösser Open, Thomas Feyrsinger in the second round of the 2005 edition, and Claude Grenier in the opening round of the 2011 tournament.

Tournament Sponsors

The eighth event of the 2026 season is promoted by the Murhof Gruppe, which manages more than 30 golf courses across Austria, including this week’s venue in Maria Lankowitz.

This week’s main sponsor is Gösser Beer. Main tournament partners include Steiermark Tourismus and Erlebnisregion Graz.

France’s Maxime Legros claims a second win at the Miglianico Alps Open

Italy, May 2nd, 2026 – France’s Maxime Legros claimed his second Alps Tour title in less than two weeks, following up his win at the Dreamland Open with another impressive performance at the Miglianico Alps Open.

After nearly 30 events to secure his maiden victory, Legros needed only a matter of days to double his tally. Starting the final round one shot behind the lead, the Frenchman delivered a strong 66 (-4) at Il Cerreto di Miglianico Golf.

Two decisive stretches of three consecutive birdies, from holes 7 to 9 and again from 13 to 15, proved to be the difference. He becomes the second multiple winner of the season after Italy’s Andrea Romano, who won twice earlier this year in Egypt.

Overnight leader Alessandro Nodari had to settle for a final-round 69 (-1), affected by a double bogey and two bogeys. The Italian shares second place with Austria’s Christoph Bleier and France’s Ewan Le Tennier.

Full Leaderboard

With this victory, Legros earns €7,200 and 6,525 Order of Merit points and moves to the top of the standings, just ahead of Italy’s Andrea Romano. Ireland’s Robert Moran and Spain’s Mario Galiano Aguilar and Pablo Alperi Lopez complete the top five.

The players will return to action on Thursday, May 14th in Austria for the Gosser Open.

Round 3 Player Quotes

Maxime Legros: “It was completely different from my win at Dreamland, where I had a big lead all day. This time, I was behind until the middle of the round — I was even four shots back after six holes. But I stuck to my game plan. With a two-shot lead towards the end, I managed to stay composed and bring the title home.

Now the goal is to be in the top 6 after the Biarritz Cup to avoid PQ1, and then finish in the top 5 overall. With two wins, of course you want to go for a third one, but we know how quickly things can change in golf. You have to take advantage when you’re playing well, and I’m happy I’m doing that right now. A big thank you to my coaches, my sponsors, my family and my girlfriend.

Ewan Le Tennier: “What was missing this week was definitely my chipping. I gave myself plenty of chances to make birdies — I made eight today — so there was room to go lower. But my chipping wasn’t sharp enough, and every small mistake ended up costing me a bogey, which made it difficult to post a really low score.

That said, I’m very happy with my start to the season. It’s another podium finish after Dreamland, and I played a very good final round today — bogey-free with four birdies. I’ve made eight cuts in eight events, so for my first season, I’m really pleased with how things are going.

Christoph Bleier: “It’s been a bit tough over the last two days. I wasn’t really hitting it well and had to scramble a lot. The wind made it pretty tricky to score low, so it was really impressive to see Max finish the way he did, especially with those birdies on 13, 14 and 15. Unfortunately, I couldn’t keep up with him this week because, as I said, I wasn’t striking it great.

Overall, I’m really happy with three top-ten finishes. I’m playing good golf at the moment and looking forward to keeping that going, hopefully giving myself a chance later in the season to move up to the HotelPlanner Tour. For now, I’ll take it one tournament at a time. I’m heading to play on the HotelPlanner Tour next week in Italy at Golf Nazionale, then I’ll be back for the Gösser Open.
