Italy’s Enrico Di Nitto and England’s Josh Loughrey took the club house lead as the play was suspended for the day due to fog in Open Colli Berici.

The weather conditions were really tough today, in one hand for the players and in the other hand for the officials. Players from the morning session had to battle with the wind but at the beginning of the afternoon, we could hear the horns to inform about dangerous situation and to stop the game at 14h30.

The morning scores were not as red, under par, as the previous day but Enrico Di Nitto managed to score 67, -4 to climb on top of the leaderboard. The Tunisian Golf Open winner, Josh Lourghey joined him thanks to a 70 card.

The play resumed with rain but it was not the end of the Mother Nature’s joke. At 17h40, the play was suspended for the day due to fog with more than a third of the field still having to complete their round. The second round will resume at 7h30 on Saturday.
