Pitoni crowned in La Pinetina Open

Italy’s Stefano Pitoni won La Pintetina Open with -15 total thanks to last round 67. At second place, his fellow countryman Enrico Di Nitto, two shots back. The latter signed for best score of the day, 6 under par card, 64. He played perfect golf, had six birdies and no dropped shots.

A group of 3 players share third place on the podium. Ireland’s Gavin Moynihan who fired 65, Swiss Luca Galliano and England’s Tom Shadbolt who struggled to keep same rhythm as second round. He could not beat the par during last round.

The order of merit has now a new face. England’s Matt Wallace is still leading with ridiculous advantage of mors than 15 000 points (almost 3 wins), Franck Daux is still second with 16 415 points. Italy’s Enrico Di Nitto is third with 13 866 points and Robin Goger and Léo Lespinasse almost tie for 4th place with less than 2 points margin at 9766 points.
