Scott Henry so high

alps-tour

Scotland’s Scott Henry, former Scottish amateur stroke-play champion sat pretty after a tremendous opening round of nine-under-par 62. He took a 4 stroke advantage over England’s Jason Barnes.

Scott Henry did the perfect round today. He turned his first nine holes with a score of 7 under par and increased his margin with 2 more birdies on last nine. The 24 year old player from Glasgow plays his first season on Alps Tour after 2 years playing in Great Britain.

Last year, Jason Barnes, 2010 Acaya Open winner, was very closed to enter precious Alps Tour Top 5. He finished at 8th position and for sure will try this season to do better.

A group of 3 players share third place tie, Spain’s Carlos Balmaseda, Italian Alberto Campanile and France’s Roman Hamon.

The projected cut is +1.
