Mario Galiano Aguilar wins a shortened 2024 Hauts de France – Pas de Calais Golf Open.
Saint-Omer, September 14th, 2024- Spain’s Mario Galiano Aguilar captures his 1st Alps Tour title at the 2024 Hauts de France – Pas de Calais Golf Open with a two-round score of 4 under-par. Tied for 2nd place at 2 under-par: Spain’s Alvaro Hernandez Cabezuela, France’s Benjamin Kedochim, Nicolas Aparicio, and Aaron Van Hauwe (am), as well as Brandon Kewalramani from the United States of America.
Due to the delays and unfavorable weather forecast during yesterday’s round, the Tournament Committee of the 2024 Hauts de France – Pas de Calais Golf Open co-sanctioned event decided to reduce the tournament to 36 holes with no cut. Nevertheless, full points and prize money will be allocated as established.
Play was first suspended yesterday, September 13th, at 12:05 p.m. during the morning wave of the 2nd round of the tournament due to unplayable course conditions. The play was then called for the day at 4:00 p.m. as the course remained in unplayable conditions.
The round resumed this morning at 8:15 a.m. for the players already on the course, and the second wave of Round 2 began at 9:20 a.m. with beautiful sunny skies and a brisk temperature.
The 2024 Hauts de France – Pas de Calais Golf Open is a co-sanctioned event between the Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS) and the Alps Tour. The event is being played on the same course with alternating tee times between the Alps Tour players and LETAS players. There are 66 players competing from each tour for two different dedicated prize funds and thus trophies.

Spain’s Mario Galiano Aguilar, 29, captures his 1st Alps Tour title at the 2024 Hauts de France- Pas de Calais Golf Open. He shot a first-round score of 1 under-par, 70, and today, he shot a 3 under-par, 68, making 5 birdies, which one on the 18th hole to secure his victory and 2 bogeys. Galiano Aguilar has earned various top-20 finishes this season but hadn’t been able to come out on top. After his victory, Galiano Aguilar was very emotional, “I talked a lot with my team, and I knew coming into here I had to have a good finish. You never know what can happen in golf, but my objective was a top 5 this week and a good opportunity in Italy. This week was amazing. I played so well. It’s been about 1 month that I’ve been playing so well, and it’s incredible. I worked hard, and I can see the work I did. My goals heading into the last two events will slightly change.” Galiano Aguilar added: “I was on the lucky side of the draw this week, and I’m thankful for that. However, you know that’s golf; in one tournament, you have the bad draw, and in the next tournament, you are lucky with the draw, and this week was my lucky week.” He also said, “To be honest, I was talking to myself during today’s round because I was in this position a while ago, and I’m telling you I was so nervous that I couldn’t handle the pressure. I practiced a lot and couldn’t put myself in position. However, I feel like my game is good enough to win tournaments out here, but one thing is saying and believing, and the other is being able to do it. Today was different, I was very nervous during the entire round but at the same time I felt very in control of myself I felt very good throughout the entire day and now I know I’m able to win out here.” Galiano Aguilar dedicated this win to: “My entire family, my girlfriends, all my friends, but for sure also for me. I put a lot of pressure on myself when I was still an amateur, and it was tough for me when I turned pro. To be honest, it’s really hard for me to tell you what I feel, but I feel so happy, very happy. I can’t wait to celebrate.”
After the 2024 Hauts de France- Pas de Calais Golf Open, France’s Benjamin Kedochim still leads the current Order of Merit standings. Brandon Kewalramani from the United States of America remains in 2nd place, and Netherlands’s Vince Van Veen rounds out the top 3 spots.
Final Round
Spain’s Mario Galiano Aguilar, winner of the 2024 Hauts de France- Pas de Calais Golf Open co-sanctioned tournament, earned the winning check of €6,400 and 6,525 Order of Merit points. The players competed for a prize fund of € 40.000 and 45,000 Order of Merit points.
The next event is scheduled for October 10th– 12th at Croara Country Club near Piacenza, Italy, for the 2024 Croara Alps Open.
LETAS
In the LET Access Series event, Australia’s Kelsey Bennett secured her first tour win at the 2024 Hauts de France Pas de Calais Golf Open after winning a one-hole play-off.
The 24-year-old sunk a 35 foot birdie to take victory over Switzerland’s Anais Maggetti and England’s Billie-Jo Smith. After her win she commented: “This win means a lot; I missed the cut at the Rose Ladies Open last week and I was wanting the week off but I spoke to my team and they pushed me to come and play this week because a win can give you so many points on the leaderboard.”

Brandon Kewalramani leads after Round 2 at the 2024 Alps de Roquetas de Mar
It was another beautiful day with sunny skies and a warm temperature that welcomed the players at Club de Golf Playa Serena in Almería, Spain, for the 2nd round of the 2024 Alps de Roquetas de Mar. It’s a new tournament in the 2024 Alps Tour Schedule. Play began at 8:00 a.m. local time from the 1st and 10th hole. The perfect weather conditions allowed the players competing for the title, the opportunity to take advantage of optimal scoring opportunities.
Round 2 Player Quotes
Brandon Kewalramani, 25, from the United States of America, concludes the 2nd round of the 2024 Alps de Roquetas de Mar in the lead with a two-day total of 10 under-par. He was tied for 3rd place after yesterday’s round 1 with a 4 under-par, 66 while today he shot a 5 under-par, 65 making 6 birdies and 1 bogey. This is his 1st year competing on the Alps Tour, and he has been performing well since the beginning of the season. He won the 2024 Austrian International Par 3 Championships, which took place ahead of this year’s 2024 Gösser Open. After he concluded his round 2, Kewalramani commented: “I played really solid today, the putter was working well today, I felt really comfortable over the putts, my iron play was great too. I felt like I could really give myself a lot of birdie chances today, and I was able to convert them. When I did get in trouble, my putter was able to help me out.” He added that he: “hasn’t looked at the scoreboard yet, and I probably won’t be looking much at the leaderboard tomorrow. I like to stay in my own world out there and I will try to do the same tomorrow, I’ll keep my head down and mind my own game and hopefully after 18 holes tomorrow it’ll work out.” When asked about potentially earning his first win on the tour tomorrow, Kewalramaniexplained: “It would obviously mean a lot to win, but you know if it doesn’t happen tomorrow, the experience I gained from myself in the situation last week in France in Bordeaux and again here will help my game regardless of what happens. Hopefully, I will try to take more advantage on the shorter par4s as I feel that’s where I left some shots out there today, but all in all, I will try to keep doing what I’ve done the past two days.” Kewalramani also wants to: “Thank the Alps Tour, the host club Club de Golf Playa Serena, and the Spanish Federation for putting on such a great event. The golf course is in great shape, and it’s truly a pleasure to compete here. I’m looking forward to another round tomorrow.”
Italy’s Mattia Comotti, 24, is in a 4-way tie for 2nd place after two rounds at the 2024 Alps de Roquetas de Mar. He was tied for 3rd place at 4 under-par after the 1st round of the tournament and shot a 2 under-par, 68 today with 1 eagle, 3 birdies and 3 bogeys to move into the 4-way tie for 2nd place with a two-day total of 6 under-par. Comotti won his 1st Alps Tour title at the 2024 Memorial Giorgio Bordoni presented by AON. He turned professional at the end of July 2023, so this is his 1st full playing season on the Alps Tour as a professional player. After his round, Comotti commented: “Today I played very solidly, especially my long game, my putting wasn’t however as sharp as it was yesterday. Overall, it still is a positive score. The course is proving itself to be quite tough; the scores are much higher than what I expected at the beginning of the week. It’s a course which is very difficult to put a very low under-par round together, maybe because the greens aren’t extremely fast or because the back nine are quite hard.” When asked about being in the lead after the morning wave, he added: “I didn’t expect to be in the lead for the moment, most likely this afternoon, someone will pass me, but this morning with no wind and relatively easy pins I thought the scores were going to be lower than what they ended up being.” Looking ahead into tomorrow’s final round where he will have a chance to earn his 2nd Alps Tour title, Comotti plans to “take time to rest and recharge the batteries this afternoon as it will be a long day tomorrow where a lot of wind is expected so I want to be rested and ready for the new day.”
Maxime Legros, 22, from France, concludes his round 2 of the 2024 Alps de Roquetas de Mar with a total score of 6 under-par and finds himself in a 4-way tie for 2ndplace alongside Mattia Comotti, Mario Galiano Aguilar and Marcos Pastor. He shot a 4 under-par, 66 in today’s round with 5 birdies and 1 bogey. After his round he commented: “Today went very well, I have been playing better for a couple a weeks now and today I finally felt confident over the ball. I really enjoyed the course this week! It’s fair and rewards you when you are able to hit good shots. We must take advantage of the front 9 because on the back 9, there are no par 5s, and birdies are much tougher to get.” Legros tomorrow plans on:“Just keep doing what I have been doing the past couple of days. I’ll have to start off strong and make a few birdies on the front 9 to set me up well for the rest of the tournament. This afternoon, I’ll make a good recovery, and tomorrow, I’ll just try to stick to my strategy and hope it goes as planned!”
Spain’s Mario Galiano Aguilar, 28, moves into a 4-way tie for 2nd place after two rounds of the 2024 Alps de Roquetas de Mar. He was tied for 18th place at 1 under-par after the 1st round and shot a 5 under-par, 65 in today’s round 2 to conclude with a two-day total of 6 under-par. Galiano Aguilar has earned several Top 10 finishes on the Alps Tour throughout his playing career but is looking to break through and earn his 1st win on the tour. After his 5-under-par round, Galiano Aguilar commented: “I’m very happy, it’s been an important change from yesterday to today. Yesterday I didn’t hit it well from the tee, but I was able to get 1 under-par round. When I finished, I changed the set-up of the Driver. I gave it one more degree, and today it went much better. From the tee, I played phenomenal today, and I have also putted better, and it was visible in my results.” He also added that he’s: “hitting the ball much more comfortably but especially with myself. At the beginning of the year, I decided not to listen to anyone, and work on my own and that has been the key for me, I am much more comfortable in all aspects. I started the season playing well in Egypt, and that has helped to give me confidence and keep going so far this season.”
In the 4-way tie for 2nd place alongside Comotti, Legros, and Galiano Aguilar with a two-day total of 6 under-par there is Spain’s Marcos Pastor. He currently holds the course record at Club de Golf Playa Serena with a 64 back in 2013 when his fellow countryman Pol Bech won the Alps Tour event. He was tied for 3rd place after yesterday’s round 1 with a 4 under-par, 66 and during today’s round 2 he made 4 birdies and 2 bogeys for a 2 under-par, 68.

A total of 43 players made the cut which was set at 140 (Par).
The Final Round of the 2024 Alps de Roquetas de Mar will begin at 8:15 a.m. local time from the 1st and 10th hole. The final pairing will tee off at 9:32 a.m. local time from the 1st hole.
In case of a tie after 54 holes, a sudden-death play-off will determine the Winner of the 2024 Alps de Roquetas de Mar. The Winner of the 2024 Alps de Roquetas de Mar will earn €5,800.00 and 6,525 Order of Merit points.

Three players are tied for the lead after Round 2 at the 2024 Red Sea Little Venice Open.
Another beautiful day with sunny skies, a warm temperature, and some moderate winds welcomed the players at Sokhna Golf Club for the 2nd round of the 2024 Red Sea Little Venice Open. Play began at 7:00 am from both the 1st and 10th hole.
Twenty-seven years old, Edoardo R Lipparelli, from Italy, continues his good performance as he is one of the three co-leaders at the end of round 2 at the 2024 Red Sea Little Venice Open. He shot two fabulous rounds of 6 under-par,66 for a two-day total of 12 under-par. During today’s 6 under-par round, Lipparelli made 3 birdies and 1 bogey on the front nine holes and 6 birdies and 1 bogey on the back nine. He is a past winner on the Alps Tour, won the 2018 Alps Tour Order of Merit, and has collected a number of top 3 finishes over the years. After his strong performance, Lipparelli commented: “today I played really well, it was a good round where I played really solid my shots were all very good and make some important putts. I also hit it very close to the pin on some holes which facilitated making the birdies. Tee to green, my game was overall very solid.” He has been performing well since the beginning of the season, even if he found that “my iron play was slightly more precise than the prior rounds. This makes me happy for sure.” Looking ahead to tomorrow’s final round, Lipparelli plans on “working on my putting a little bit more to make sure it is more consistent, and for my long game I will just keep working on the same aspects to make sure it is tidy throughout the round.” He added that this offseason he focused on “improving my driving and my putting as those were the two aspects that weren’t allowing me to shot low scores so to see the results so early in the season it is gratifying.”
Lukas Lipold, thirty years old from Austria, who turned professional at the end of 2019 is the second player in the three-way tie for 1st place after round 2 of the 2024 Red Sea Little Venice Open. He followed his 3 under-par, 69 opening round with a fabulous bogey-free 9 under-par, 63 to tie the lead ahead of tomorrow’s final round. Lipold has earned various top finishes over the years but is looking to earn his 1st victory on the Alps Tour. After his incredible 9 under-par round, Lipold was satisfied with how “I was very consistent, I was putting very well, and it was a good round from start to finish. I am driving the ball very well this week and that allows me to have a lot of good chances on this course.” He added that he is really “looking forward to the tension tomorrow that is just there when you are in the right position on the final day. I don’t want to change my gameplan, I will try and do the same things I did today and go for it.”

Round 1 leader, Mario Galiano Aguilar, twenty-eight years old from Spain is the third player in the three-way tie for 1st place after round 2 of the 2024 Red Sea Little Venice Open. He followed his fabulous 10 under-par, 62 in round 1 with a 2 under-par, 70 in today’s round where he made 3 birdies and 1 bogey. He has earned several Top 10 finishes on the Alps Tour throughout his playing career but is looking to break through and earn his 1st win on the tour. After his 2-under-par round, Galiano Aguilar commented: “Today was a good result even if it wasn’t as good as yesterday. I have the opportunity to win the tournament tomorrow which is always nice, and I will do my absolute best tomorrow to try and achieve it.” When asked about the difference between his 1st round and today, he explained: “I feel like I could have done better today than what I did but maybe I didn’t push too hard knowing the score I did yesterday. Tomorrow will be a new opportunity, not only for the tournament but also for myself to keep making putts and playing well. I will be focused on myself and try to do my best and see after the round how I finish. I will follow the same gameplan as I did the past two days as it worked well, and hopefully, it will work the same tomorrow.”

France’s Nicolas Muller, twenty-two years old finds himself tied for 4th place with a two-day total of 11 under-par after today’s round. He shot a 5 under-par, 67 in round one and a 6 under-par, 66 round 2. He is continuing his good performance as he tied for 4th place at the first event of the season, the 2024 Ein Bay Open. Muller was happy to comment: “Today was a very good day on and around the green for me, I managed to not make many mistakes with my long game but what really helped me to make a lot of birdies was my putting and chipping.” He added that he found, “a little bit of difference playing in the morning as there is no wind usually for the first 5 or 6 holes and maybe you can be more aggressive with some pin position and create more birdie opportunities.”
England’s twenty-four-year-old Arron Edwards-Hill shot a 5 under-par,67 in today’s 2nd round for a two-day total of 11 under-par and be tied for 4th place ahead of tomorrow’s final round. During today’s round, he made 6 birdies and 1 bogey. This is his first full year of playing as a professional golf player since he turned professional at the end of 2023. After he concluded his 5-under-par round, Edwards-Hill proudly commented: “It puts me in a good position at -11 total going into the last round tomorrow. I played tee to green very solid today. Unfortunately, I had two 3-putts, but I feel like I’m rolling the ball nicely on the greens and staying in the fairways as I’m not being overly aggressive off the tees. My wedge and my iron play feel good so I’m giving myself tons of chances. When asked about heading into tomorrow’s final round so close to the lead, Edwards-Hill explained: “It’s my first year as a professional, so you know, in my second event, to have a chance to put in a good performance is great. I’m looking forward to the challenge for sure.”
Tied for 4th place alongside Muller and Edwards-Hill with a two-day total of 11 under-par you can find: France’s Benjamin Kedochim and Spain’s Eduard Rousaud.

A total of 46 players (42 professionals and 4 amateurs) made the cut which was set at 139 (-5).

Mario Galiano Aguilar ties the Course Record to take the first-round lead at the 2024 Red Sea Little Venice Open.
The first round of the 2nd tournament of the 2024 Winter Series, the 2024 Red Sea Little Venice Open, played on courses B&C at the beautiful Sokhna Golf Club in Suez, Egypt, began this morning at 7:00 am local time from the 1st and 10th hole. Like last week, players can compete under favorable weather conditions this week as blue skies and temperatures that could reach a high of 25° Celsius are expected even if, during the afternoon, some light to moderate winds are forecasted.
Spain’s twenty-eight years old, Mario Galiano Aguilar shot a 10 under-par, 62 in the 1st round of the 2024 Red Sea Little Venice Open to lead by 1 stroke. With today’s incredible round, Galiano Aguilar ties the current course record which was already set at 10 under-par. He has earned several Top 10 finishes on the Alps Tour throughout his playing career but is looking to break through and earn his 1st win on the tour, “I had the opportunity in a couple of tournaments to win but I knew my game wasn’t ready to win. However, now I feel my game is ready to win and I’m very confident. If it’s not going to be this week, it’ll be another week, but I know I’m competitive enough. I’m very focused and determined on this year’s goal which is to win tournaments.” During today’s 10 under-par, 62 round, Galiano Aguilar made 1 bogey and 6 birdies on the front nine and then added 5 more birdies on the back nine to conclude his fabulous round. After he signed his card, Galiano Aguilar commented, “I wasn’t aware of what the course record was, but I knew my lowest round ever was a -9, so I really tried the last three holes to get to -10, and I’m obviously very happy about it.” He added that he made a change between the 2024 Ein Bay Open and this week’s event, “I usually putt with a marked line on my ball however today I didn’t use it, I just put my ball down with no line and was trying to feel more the line and the aim I wanted. I hope it works well the next two days like it did today. I made this change because last week I hit the ball extremely well, but my putting was very disappointing. Today the putter finally worked, and I was able to put together a good round, I was -4 in my first 6 holes and that gave me good confidence for the rest of the day.”
Francesco Santoni, twenty-five years old from Italy, finds himself in 2nd place with a 1st round score of 9 under-par, 63, and only 1 shot off the lead. He began his round by making 4 birdies and 1 bogey on the front nine and then went on to make 6 more birdies on the back nine to conclude his day. After his round, he commented: “Today was a really good day overall, as you can expect with a -9, but to be honest with you, while I was out on the course, I didn’t realize the round I was putting together. I realized the round I did while coming off the 18th green. I worked a lot this off-season with my coach Alain Vergari. We worked a lot on my swing to try and gain more consistency and the results I saw today were satisfying. I did the first step, which was putting together today’s round, but tomorrow, I want to go out there and keep doing what I was doing today and put together another good round, if not better than today.”
Twenty-nine years old, Benjamin Kedochim from France concluded his first round of the 2024 Red Sea Little Venice Open with an 8 under-par, 64 and finds himself in a two-way tie for 3rd place alongside Spain’s Borja Martin. He teed off on the 10th hole where he made 3 birdies and 1 eagle. After making the turn, he went on to make 4 more birdies and 1 bogey to conclude his day. Kedochim has earned a number of top 5 finishes in his career but is looking to capture his 1st title: “I’ve been close several times in the past 2 years to earn a win but I don’t think I was missing something specific I just need to keep playing my best every day and sometimes you have a little extra luck which is what you need to win and other times you won’t get it.” He also explained that: “today I began the day with a few lip outs, but I tried to stay in the moment as I told myself they will drop so I tried to stay patient. I’m really trying to play shot by shot like I did last season and made a good putt on 14 which got me into the round. I struggled with my putting during the first event of the season, so I worked a lot on it before we started this tournament and I’m pleased with the results I saw today. I had a stretch of 6 holes where I made 3 big putts and that helped a lot.”
Spain’s twenty-four-year-old Borja Martin is the 2nd player in the two-way tie for 3rd place at 8 under-par with a great bogey-free round. He made 1 birdie on the front nine for a front-nine score of 35 and after making the turn at 1 under-par, he made 5 birdies and 1 eagle to close out in 29 for a total score of 64, 8 under-par. After his round, Martin commented that today, “I played pretty well on the front side but wasn’t able to take advantage of a couple of good situations I had. However, on the back nine, I kept hitting good shots and was able to make some important putts. On the few holes I hit a few bad tee shots, I managed to recover and made par on those holes.” He found that the conditions at Sokhna Golf Club, “were great. The wind made a few holes a bit tougher on the front nine, but it stopped for the back nine luckily. The main difference I found is if you play in the morning, the greens are nicer, while in the afternoon, it’s tougher to make putts.”
The competitors in this week’s event are battling it out for an overall prize fund of €40.000 and 45,000 Order of Merit points.

Round 2
The second round of the 2024 Red Sea Little Venice Open will begin again at 7:00 am local time from the 1st and 10th hole. Once Round 2 is completed, a cut will be made to the top 40 players and ties.

Agrate Conturbia, September 29th 2022- Italy’s Andrea Saracino and Spain’s Mario Galiano Aguilar are in a two-way tie for the lead at 11 under-par entering the final round of the 2022 Castelconturbia Alps Open. They hold a one stroke lead over England’s Ben Schmidt and Austria’s Alexander Kopp that are in a tie for 3rd place at 10 under-par. There is a 5-way tie for 5th place at 9 under-par that includes two winners of this season: Portugal’s Tomas Guimaraes Bessa and France’s Tom Vaillant (am).
Another typical fall day with overcast skies, chilly temperatures and some light rains towards the end of the day at Golf Club Castelconturbia for the second round of the 2022 Castelconturbia Alps Open. It was another day with opportunities for good scoring conditions for the players to take advantage ahead of tomorrow’s final round. They are eagerly trying to capture important order of merit points and move up as much as possible in the rankings ahead of next week’s 2022 Emilia Romagna Alps Tour Grand Final. Play began again at 8:00 am this morning from both the 1st and 10th hole. The expected forecast for tomorrow’s final round remains similar, however there will be a chance of rain.
Round 2 Player Quotes-
Italy’s Andrea Saracino who was in a tie for 4th place at the conclusion of yesterday’s 1st round, finds himself in a tie for the lead after today’s round. He followed his opening-round of 6 under-par, with a 5 under-par in the second round for a two-day total of 11 under-par. He turned professional in 2017 and hopes to make a final move in the Alps Tour Order of Merit to try and regain his Challenge Tour card at next week’s event. He has been playing very consistent throughout the season and hopes to breakthrough with a win before the season ends. When Andrea concluded his round, he was very pleased on how he played today: “My long game was very good today, I hit a lot of good shots into the greens for birdies. I putted very well on the front nine holes and then it was steady on the back nine. I’m overall extremely pleased about today’s round and who knows what will happen tomorrow.” He also commented on how “my long game has been solid all season, my putting is what I struggled with the most but the last couple of events it seems like it’s finally coming around.” Andrea went on to add that he wants to “remain focused on these next two events of the season and see what happens before making any plans for the future.”
Spain’s Mario Galiano Aguilar followed his opening round of 5 under-par 67 with a 6 under-par 66 for a two-day total of 11 under-par, which allows him to be in a tie for the lead entering tomorrow’s final round. He made 1 eagle and 3 birdies on the front nine holes and 2 birdies and a single bogey on the back nine. Mario commented after his round that his: “iron play has been very good this week. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about my driving but when I do put the ball in play, I’ve been making a lot of birdies. My putter has been working well good also.” On how he will approach tomorrow, he plans on “trying to do the same tomorrow. Put the ball in the fairways as much as possible and I know I can have a chance to win. Tomorrow will definitely be a day where I can learn a lot and I’m excited to see what will happen.”
England’s Ben Schmidt shot an incredible bogey-free 8 under-par round today for a two-day total of 10 under-par and be in a tie for 3rd place only 1 stroke off the lead entering tomorrow’s final round. He made 6 birdies on the front nine and 2 birdies on the back. When Ben signed for his 8under-par, he was very satisfied: “today was a great day, I played really solidly all around, played very similar to yesterday just today I holed a few more putts. I holed a few long putts and made some clutch savers. When I missed the green, I got up and down. I had the same game plan and yesterday felt it was good so just stuck to that and I will be doing the same for tomorrow.” He found that the course was “playing very similar to yesterday, greens fairly soft which means could fire at the pins and the ball was stopping.” Ben also told said he feels like he’s been hitting his driver very well over the past 2 days which is important on this course, “on this course if you are straight off the tee then you will always have a chance because the course isn’t so long but if you don’t put it in play then you can struggle.”
Alexander Kopp from Austria is tied for 3rd place alongside Ben Schmidt at 10 under-par and only 1 stroke off the lead. He shot a second round of 5 under-par 67 with 8 birdies and 3 bogeys. At the conclusion of Alexander’s round, he was very happy with his first two round here at the 2022 Castelconturbia Alps Open. “I unfortunately hit some bad drives off the tee today but my short game was very solid. Tomorrow I want to go out there enjoy the round and the wonderful course we are playing on this week.”
The 5-way tie for 5th place at 9 under-par only 2 strokes from the lead includes: Daniel Hebenstreit, Edoardo R Lipparelli, Daniel Gurtner, Tomas Guimaraes Bessa and Tom Vaillant (am).
Edoardo Giletta from Italy made a hole-in-one on the par 3 4th hole during today’s second round. Tom Vaillant(am) shot the low round of the day with a 9 under-par 63 today.
Final Round-
The final round of the 2022 Castelconturbia Alps Open, will begin at 8:00 am from the 1st and 10th hole.
A total of 49 players made the cut which was set 1 under-par (143). The leaders will tee off at 9.20 am from the 1st hole. The winner of the 2022 Castelconturbia Alps Open, will earn the winning check of €5,800 and valuable 6,525 Order of Merit points.
