The leaderboard was full of red today after first round in Feudo di Asti Open. No less than 3 players shot 62, 8 under to take one shot lead : Autrian Jürgen Maurer (photo) and France’s Frédéric Abadie and Edwin Thomann. At fourth place, 4 players signed for a great 63-7-under-par card, France’s Rémi Rupuis and Xavier Poncelet, Swiss Nicolas Sulzer and German Philipp Mejow.

Cristiano Terragni is leading the “squadra azzura” with a great card of 64. One of them was the man to watch today. Young amateur Domenico Geminiani, 15 year old, shot 65 and proved that his level of game is amazing for a player this age. He is living in Florida, won many amateur tournaments in USA and often beat older players. He has won in 2011 the River Strand Country Club in the West Florida Tour, a pro tournament.

The projected cut is -1.
